Evidence from the Laws of Physics

ten treacle tarts. Why? … He was hungry. Why? … He'd had no supper. Why? … There was no food in the larder. Why? … He'd not done the shopping. Why? … He was too busy cleaning windows. Why? … They were dirty. Why? … etc.
This is commonly known as the
Law of Cause and Effect. Every cause having an effect. This law also states that the effect cannot be greater, in size or in kind, than the cause. No exception to the Law of Cause and Effect has ever been observed. One of the obvious consequences of this law is that every effect we see in the universe must have had a cause. We are forced therefore to ask what or Who was the First Cause?
"The first cause of time must be greater than time, in fact eternal. The First Cause had no origin. This answers those who ask where God came from. Space stretches beyond the limits of detection, so the First Cause of all this space must be greater than this, namely infinite. There can be no place free from the influence of the First Cause of space. The universe contains a lot of energy … there is the radiant energy of our sun, and of all the countless other stars. There is also the gravitational attraction between our sun and the planets of our solar system. This, though considerable on a human scale, is puny compared with the gravitational pull of stars in a galaxy, or yet again, between galaxies within clusters. The First Cause of all the energy in the universe cannot be less than the sum total of that energy, according to the Law of Cause and Effect. The First Cause is omnipotent. By similar logic, we can consider all the information; not just the intrinsic properties of matter, but the genetic information in all the varied forms of animal and vegetable life, and conclude that the First Cause must be omniscient - all-knowing."

The First Cause is therefore the eternal, infinite, omnipotent, omniscient God of creation!!
